About

I am a research and policy specialist applying evidence-based insights to advance social, economic, and health outcomes in Kenya. I lead applied research, digital data systems, and monitoring, evaluation, and learning frameworks that inform policy, program design, and institutional accountability.

My work spans labor markets, agriculture, and health and rights, with a focus on gender, youth inclusion, and equity. I bridge academic research, policy engagement, and implementation learning, ensuring findings translate into actionable insights.

I have contributed to peer-reviewed publications, policy briefs, global and national research reports, and digital MER systems that strengthen institutions and inform decision-making.

How I Work

Evidence-Based Research

Conducting rigorous, context-driven research to generate actionable evidence.

Policy-Oriented Design

Translating research into practical recommendations for institutions, government, and civil society.

Systems & Learning Focus

Building digital MER systems and frameworks to support accountability and institutional performance.

Focus Areas

Gender, Youth & Labor Market Systems

I conduct research and generate evidence that strengthens opportunities for women and young people in the labor market. My work examines skills development, employability, and workforce transitions, with attention to how displacement, social inequality, and education systems affect participation. Findings from these studies have informed policy briefs, program design, and capacity-building initiatives to support inclusive economic growth.

Agricultural Economics & Innovation

I explore how innovation, technology adoption, and economic factors shape productivity in smallholder agricultural systems. This focus includes studying the adoption of disruptive technologies, market dynamics, and livelihood outcomes. My research supports policies and interventions aimed at improving agricultural performance, technology uptake, and the economic well-being of rural communities.

Health, Digital Health & Rights

I advance understanding and solutions at the intersection of health, digital systems, and human rights. My work addresses digital inclusion, access to health information, HIV and SRHR outcomes, technology-facilitated harms, and accountable systems. Through research, participatory action studies, and digital MER tools, I support evidence-based decisions that enhance equity, protect rights, and strengthen institutional accountability.
